St Kilda Boat Sales are situated at St Kilda Marina, they wanted to capture and broadcast actual bay conditions and on-water activity.Aspect Monitoring Services commissioned a Pelco specialist weatherproof camera and complex mounting system.The Pelco Camera is fully automated and controlled via a wireless feed from the boat sales office ( See St.Kilda Boat Sales webcam ).

The Pelco-Cam provides full colour LIVE images to your computer (or compatible phone) via a complex high-speed 20,000mbps and secure DSL wireless network, antenna on the lighthouse back to the Boat Sales office.

Actually it's very technical because in between, we convert the image stream into a digital signal then load onto a streaming server which is located at the base of the Lighthouse then loaded onto the Internet via the USA. All this data movement and conversion occurs within seconds, as the data stream (vision) is captured by our specialist Pelco camera, mounted on the top of Lighthouse 60ft above the water at St Kilda Marina, where the Pelco Spectra 4 is permanently situated.

The Web Cam experience is truly-engaging, giving users the unique ability to view the top-end of Port Phillip Bay as the camera automatically sweeps on the selected, pre-programmed path for which we can change at our choosing.
